Trusting yourself and your choices is the key to emotional well being. We enter psychotherapy for all different reasons: grief, personal crisis, anxiety, sadness, phases of life issues, unmanageable anger, relationship troubles, career issues, etc. Sometimes we don’t even know what’s bothering us – we just know we don’t feel right.
To my mind, the ability to recognize that you have a need for change and accept that you need help to move towards a solution, is an inner strength.
As a client-centered and solution focused therapist, my goal is help you work towards future decision making and learn to live on life’s terms. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges that are causing you pain and impeding upon your life today. By applying integrative therapy approaches and techniques, together we will unearth long-standing behavioral patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling life.
We offer integrative care to include a multi-disciplined approach and coordination of care with your present healthcare providers. If residential treatment is a necessary part of your treatment, we offer premiere treatment placement and accommodations.

“In working with clients in psychotherapy, I find it useful to begin by identifying what is working right in their lives as well as areas of life that have been particularly challenging. We might examine patterns of concern. We also look at what’s not working; relationships, symptoms of depression, anxiety, obsessive thinking, compulsive – addictive behavior, and emotional regulation. All of these feelings and concerns serve as clues to help us identify and address hidden and unexpressed emotions and experiences that may be getting in the way. From there, together we may develop strategies to do more of what’s working and less of what’s not. It has been my experience that clients typically know how to solve their own problems once they’ve been able to remove their emotional defenses and barriers.
It’s a “master remind” in some cases. For others, therapy is to assist in further developing insight into making healthy choices and healthy relationships with self and others.
I look forward to our work together” – Tracy.
